Our condolences: Revd David Morris MBE

June 07, 2022

We have very sadly learned of the passing of Revd David Morris MBE and wish to pass on our sincerest condolences to all of David’s family, colleagues and friends at Community of Grace.

David played a significant role in the founding of Action Homeless back in the early 1970’s. Mayfield House, established around this time, is still operating today and continues to offer people a safe place to stay as well as personalised support.

We are thankful for David’s early involvement in the creation of our charity. Action Homeless has gone on to support thousands of individuals and families affected by homelessness and as we approach our 50 year anniversary next year,  we remain as committed as ever to breaking the cycle of homelessness for people affected in Leicester and Leicestershire.

David dedicated his whole life to helping people affected by homelessness and his determination to make a difference is to be admired.

We offer our deepest condolences to all those that knew David.
