Emergency beds open to county rough sleepers

Action Homeless has been able to open three additional beds for rough sleepers from Blaby, Hinckley and Bosworth, Melton and North West Leicestershire just in time for Christmas.  These extra beds will provide much-needed accommodation for those facing the terrible prospect of sleeping rough this winter. Everyone will be provided with a welcome pack that includes toiletries, a towel and other basic necessities, along with a hot evening meal and breakfast.

One of our support workers will also be working with the people using the emergency beds to help them find a permanent home.

The beds have been provided in partnership with the local authorities in these areas, with support from the Governments Rough Sleeper Initiative.

Help us to be there for people that need somewhere safe and warm to sleep this Winter by making a donation.
